The new Cat.8.1 connector from LogiLink offers a significantly higher data throughput. It supports the transmission of data up to 40 Gbit / s via shielded twisted pair copper cables. This new Cat.8.1 RJ45 connector is downward compatible with all previous twisted pair copper cabling (Cat.6A, Cat.6, Cat.5e). It supports a maximum distance of 30m if speeds of 25 Gbit / s or 40 Gbit / s are supported. Regarding Cat.6A 10 Gbit / s, the maximum connection distance of 100m is supported.
