In expanded mode, the maximum resolution is 7680x2160. It requires a DisplayPort 1.2 graphics card with MST support and Dual Mode DP++ function. If only once monitor is connected to this converter, the maximum resolution is 3840x2160@60Hz.. No external power supply is needed, the adapter is powered by the Mini Displayport port.This active MST Hub supports DP++ and does not require the source or graphics card to support DP++ to provide dual-mode signals.
