ETERNAL SHINING The inspiration for this artwork was poetry. During preparation to the creative process, I tried to refuse from logic and common thoughts and tried to focus on the inner light. When I did it I came to canvas and started to create combining the calm shades of grey beige and pearl in laconic composition. The artwork I got reminds me of foggy morning and snowmelt. But don"t relate it to just abstract landscape. Here is a part of the poem Eloisa to Abelard by Alexander Pope, that inspired me so much: "How happy is the blameless vestal's lot! The world forgetting, by the world forgot. Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind! For her th' unfading rose of Eden blooms, And wings of seraphs shed divine perfumes, For her the Spouse prepares the bridal ring, For her white virgins hymeneals sing, To sounds of heavenly harps she dies away, And melts in visions of eternal day".
