Welcome to La Locanda del Castello La Locanda del Castello is located in the old part of the small ancient hamlet inside the walls surrounding the Castle of San Giovanni d’Asso, which dates back to the Sixteenth century (1500), built in lime-stone and bricks. Outside the Locanda, there’s a small square ''''piazzetta'''' leading to the attractive Tuscan countryside of The Crete Senesi. La Locanda was completely renovated five years ago. The renovation has been completed in a sympathetic manner, retaining as many of the original features as possible. The owner's refined taste is evident as soon as you enter inside the reception where there is an atmosphere which takes you back to another time. Each of the nine rooms are individually decorated in an exclusive and refined manner with individual antique pieces and tasteful décor. La Locanda prides itself on a personal service. The owner takes a great interest in all aspects of the running of the hotel and the restaurant and is usually here to greet guests personally upon arrival. We offer our guests a variety of services and organize numerous activities. We can cater for Wedding parties and other events. Business hours of reception: Every day: from 08:00 to 21:00 . and from : to: on weekends
