Kawau Lodge

Kawau Lodge is situated on unique Kawau Island, no roads or cars on the property. At Kawau Lodge you can book either one of the 2 queen rooms which comes with their own ensuite and deck area over looking the bay or our super king room with ensuite and own private deck area. We will come across to Sandspit which is the pickup point on the mainland and collect you in our own private boat. Sandspit is located around an hours drive north of Auckland city off State Highway One, turn off at the township of Warkworth.  Once you have enjoyed the 30 minute crossing, you will be surprised by the peace and tranquility that Kawau Lodge offers. As there are no restaurants nearby, you can enjoy your meals at the lodge. Check out our Trip Advisor comments for any recommendations.  We can also take you around to visit the famous Mansion House or you can go kayaking or there are several good walks from the lodge.
