In heavy rain, water is rapidly evacuated through three widened channels, combined with Aqua Turbine technology and inside lateral grooves. Thus, it offers better aquaplaning resistance. The rubber compound’s high silica content also contributes to increase braking performance over wet roads. Its mileage is optimised thanks to wear-resistant rubber components. The tyre’s rubber formula has also been developed to reduce roll resistance and thus fuel consumption. The blocks’ design also allows for reducing rolling noise.
