Over his long and colourful career Damian has secured his position as one of the United Kingdom’s best photographers by accruing over 673 international awards, being the ONLY photographer to hold 5 UK Master Photographer of theYear Awards, along with 7 Society Photographer of the Year awards and is the only photographer in the world to beawarded a Grand Master Bar.Damian’s hard work and dedication has resulted in him earning 7 international Fellowships, holding the title ofMaster Photographer with the NPS and the Guild of Photographers, being the first photographer to be awarded aDouble Masters with the Societies and being one of only 3 individuals to be honoured with the prestigious title of‘Grand Master’.In 2013, his achievements lead to Damian being instated as Olympus UK’s Principle Photographer and Educator –a position that he is extremely proud to hold.New Zealand born, Michael Wayne Plant has lived and worked as a photographer in Australia, Greece, America,Italy, France and the United Kingdom. He has been a photographer since 1988 working in variety of genres, thesehave all influenced his development, interests and aesthetic style as a photographer. He completed an MA inPhotography and Urban Cultures at Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2008. Where he further developedan interest in making work that explores issues relating to capitalism, economics and the social landscape that weall inhabit, using a documentary approach to photography.As a social documentary photographer, he is constantly developing new ways to work with his subjects, on thestories that interest him.Michael is a Sony Advocate photographer for Sony UK. He is currently using both the new a7R and a7S full framee-mount cameras, which he says are small and easy to use in a wide range of circumstances, both cameras suitingdifferent needs.Once purchased you will receive an email with details of how to book the event.
