Jean-Marc Burgaud is a renowned and talented winemaker born and raised in Morgon in Beaujolais, from a family of vinegrowers, who founded his winery in the late 80s. Today his estate extends over approximately 18 hectares including vineyards in the prestigious Côte du Py area and his company is recognized as one of the most important in the region. The Gamay grapes for this elegant Morgon are hand-picked from over-eighty-year-old vines that enjoy southeast exposure, planted on soil characterized by decomposed granite and schist. After vinification, with carbonic maceration, according to the Beaujolais tradition, the wine rests in tanks for about 6 months, to ensure a full expression of the fruity and fresh character of the grape variety.
