The IWS System standard remote comes with 16mm piping and fittings. How It All Works ? The goal is to get oxygen to the roots. IWS Flood & Drain System pumps water-based nutrients directly to plants. Your roots will get a boost each time you feed them as the water pushes through the medium. The solution is then pumped into the pots at the appropriate times. This allows the plants to breathe and feed. The same solution is pumped into each pot by floats. After the solution has drained from the pots, fresh air is drawn into the root area. It is then pumped back into the waterbutt to rebalance the pH and EC. Roots are more productive because they receive fresh, oxygen-rich oxygen at each feed. This grow system is very draining.
