If you've ever dreamed of becoming a helicopter pilot then this 4 hour pilot experience is just for you. On arrival at your chosen location, you will receive a guided tour of the hangars and learn all about the different types of helicopters. You'll then take to the skies for a 15-20 minute one-to-one flying lesson and hover challenge, taking control of the helicopter under the guidance of a CAA licensed instructor. This 4-hour experience also includes lunch and a certificate to take home.Valid for 10 months, this experience is available on weekdays and Saturdays throughout the year. Please note the Cumbernauld location is available on weekdays only. Minimum age is 14 years. The experience lasts around 4 hours in total, with approximately 15-20 minutes in the helicopter. You will be in a group of up to 8 people during your tour and discussion, but the flying lesson and hover challenge is delivered on a one-to-one basis. All dates are subject to availability.
