Grand Terminus Hotel

The Grand Terminus is a hotel that have luxurious facilities and services. The hotel was built in 1928. The same year, it was awarded the A C Houen's prize for good architecture. A preservation order has been proposed for the hotel relating to the law on cultural heritage. This order concerns the facade, the ground floor, lounges in the cellar, and the stairway. The hotel is one of the oldest hotels in Norway, guests wanting a very modern hotel will be disappointed but those who like a bit of charm from their hotel will be pleasantly surprised. The actual reception area in the hotel is of a small size but adjoins a spacious sitting room housing several antique peices of furniture.
