Glentanner Park Centre is the Holiday Park, Flightseeing and Activity Centre for the Aoraki Mt Cook region, New Zealand. Set amongst a working sheep station with panoramic views of Mt Cook and Mt Cook National Park, Glentanner is your complete Mt Cook experience. Located at the head of Lake Pukaki, just 24km south of Mt Cook Village we are the place to stay! The four star holiday park offers motel style self contained cabins, basic and standard cabins, a backpackers/dormitory as well as campervan and tent sites. The self contained cabins have their own kitchen and bathroom, and the holiday park facilities include a large shared kitchen, dining and TV lounge, BBQ pavilion, laundry and ablution block. The cabins and sites have arguably the best views of Aoraki Mt Cook in the valley, and the park itself the nicest weather in the region. The purpose built centre has a licensed cafe (open for breakfast, lunch and coffees all year round as well as evening dining in the summer months), a merino retail souvenir shop, helicopter flight desk and an information centre for bookings. Mount Cook outdoor adventure activities (many of which are based right here at Glentanner) include helicopter flights with snow landings, heli-picnics, horse trekking, glacier boat trips, scenic plane flights, heli-skiing, hunting, fishing and walking/hiking.
