Seperate from the Inn Accommodation is the Loft/ Chalet self catering, and capable of sleeping up to 8 people. If you do not wish to do your own cooking , only 30 metres away is the Licensed Bar and Restaurant of the Inn. ( Bookings are essential) The Girraween Country Inn is situated in the Granite belt Wine Region,near Stanthorpe in southeast Queensland. The Inn is surrounded by wineries and National Parks, Girraween N.P., Bald Rock N.P., Boonoo Boonoo N.P., Sundown National N.P.'s. You can find local Flora and Fauna, especially the friendly Kangaroos, lounging at the Ranger Station at Girraween N.P. Girraween means ''''place of flowers'''', and the best time to visit is in Spring, October- November when the Flora is at its most prolific.
