At more than 1.800 m altitude amidst the marvellous mountain panorama of the Drautale and the Lienzer Dolomiten lies the Fröschlhütte which was completely renovated in 2006. The hut is completely built of wood and has room for up to 10 persons. The fenced garden with own well and wooden table, banks invites to a pleasant day in the sun in the middle of greens. Marvellous view - mountains, as far as you can see! Cooking on the wood-burning stove. The hut disposes of solar power 12V. The next village, Oberdrauburg, is in 17 km of distance. There you will find food stores, restaurants, bakery, railway station etc... To the city of Lienz approx. 30 km. Near the Fröschlhütte there are two catered restaurants.
