The fruits were sourced from estate-owned vineyards that grow on sandy soils, rich in calcium carbonate. Finca Ambrosia started life as a grower estate, selling grapes to famous Argentinian producers like Trapiche and Zorzal. It was founded in 2002 after a group of wine-loving friends discovered the special terroir of Gualtallary, which was just starting to capture the interest of wine producers. However, in 2011, the winery employed a local wine-maker to create a vintage of their own - it was met with critical acclaim, and the face of Finca Ambrosia was forever changed. On the palate, this Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits a bold, bright character, with dark fruits, liquorice, leather, chocolate, and brooding spice flavours.
