The Fairmont Hamilton Princess, among the hibiscus and oleander, on the shores of a picturesque natural harbor, is a luxury resort and an elegant tribute to the old world splendor that is Bermuda. The guests can take a dip in the Bermuda hotel’s fresh or saltwater pools, catch the complimentary ferry over to the private Fairmont Beach Club in Southampton, frolic with the dolphins at dockyard, or use the Bermuda luxury hotel as a home base for sailing trips around Hamilton harbor and the Great Sound. Inspired by Princess Louise, the daughter of Queen Victoria, The Fairmont Hamilton Princess Hotel in Bermuda is a symbol of all that Bermudians hold dear - old fashioned courtesy, timeless quality and genuine hospitality. * Fairmont Hamilton Princess wanted to share an update on the progress and timeline of their renovation project which began in Fall 2013: October 2013 began the creation of the new Marina at The Fairmont Hamilton Princess. This 10 month process will result in a Marina designed to hold 66 water crafts and will be the platform for their new Pier Restaurant. The new restaurant will sit on Hamilton Harbor with unobstructed views of the Harbor and Bermuda. With 30 seats at the Bar and 100 in the restaurant, guests will enjoy Lunch and Dinner. The Pier restaurant will be complete May 1, 2014 and The Marina is scheduled for completion early July 2014. On October 24, 2013, they vacated all rooms in the Poinciana wing as well as the Bermudiana wing. There was no work being done in the Bermudiana wing. They closed this wing for guest comfort and safety. The Poinciana wing is scheduled for completion May 2, 2014. The Salt water pool closed along with the Poinciana and Bermudiana wing to be completely transformed into a resort style pool. This project will be completed on April 30, 2014. The fresh water pool, which is heated, will remain open during this time. They are all very excited about all the upgrades to come. However, they would like to convey that the above changes will cause minimal disturbance to the guests.
