The rubber protection pads protect mounted equipment from the solid metal weighing 83g, making it a very solid piece of kit for both hobbyists and professionals. This plate has 3 x 3/8" Tripod Mount thread holes on the underside suitable for virtually all tripod legs - mount in 1 of 3 positions. The plate has a standard 1/4" screw which can be completely removed if required - allowing you to install your own and 1 x 3/8" screw which can be mounted either side for various compatible accessories.
