The Einhell TC-MD 50 digital detector is an indispensable helper for DIY enthusiasts as it helps to identify hidden materials behind walls. The detector reliably locates metal, wood and electric leads in dry walling. It detects ferrous metals (such as steel) and live wires to a depth of 50 millimeters, and non-ferrous metals (such as copper) to a detection depth of 38 millimeters. Wood can also be detected to a depth of 19 millimeters. Operation is easy and intuitive thanks to an acoustic warning signal. Protector pads are also fitted on the back to protect the wall. The soft grip makes it comfortable to operate with just one hand. If the detector is set down to one side, it switches off automatically after one minute to help preserve the battery.
