Eco Suites Uxlabil Guatemala is located at a 15 minutes drive from La Aurora International Airport; 5 minutes (by car) from the “Zona Viva” with shopping malls, nightlife, world class restaurants. We are part of the Oakland neighborhood, one of the safest and most tranquil areas of the city, ideally fitted for walking, jogging or bike riding; with a pleasant park nearby. Being surrounded by splendorous nature is one of Uxlabil´s unique characteristics, because the main ambient noise you´ll hear is the chirping of birds. HOW TO GET THERE After entering the Oakland neighborhood through the main checkpoint located next to the Israeli Embassy (13th avenue, zone 10), drive keeping to the right of the road (as if bordering the neighborhood). After the second stop sign you will find a downhill winding road – with some 6 speed-breakers – of approximately 300 meters. After the downhill you will find a straight street (11thstreet), and in the middle of the street, on your right side you find Uxlabil; a red, 4-storied building, reminiscent of old Mayan style. The charm of our rooms is due to the fact that we use local building materials and decorate with style and artisan works inspired on the Mayan culture. The hot water is solar heated. From the rooms and the living rooms you can enjoy the view of the trees while relaxing to the birds chirping. Eco Suites Uxlabil Guatemala is a 4-storied,earthquake-proof building, built in likeness of the Rosa Lila Mayan temple of Copán. It houses equipped apartments, with cozy and comfortable beds, private bathrooms, kitchenette with mini-fridge, sink, kitchen utensils, microwave oven and dining table. The apartments also feature a comfortable living room with artisan furniture. The hotel provides plenty of sitting areas to enjoy the impressive forest view. Some apartments feature a balcony with a relaxing view over the trees. You can cook in your apartments, join the Café del Bosque or ask by phone for home-delivery service. The apartments are cleaned on a daily basis (except on Sundays and holidays). We have our own parking lot, a tennis, basketball and mini soccer field, sauna, Jacuzzi, and the Café del Bosque for breakfast and dinner (this services are available only by previous confirmation).
