The Schneider Electric Wiser window/door sensor recognizes if a window/door is opened or closed and it directly reports a change to the Wiser Hub. It can trigger automated actions such as switch off the heating system when the window is open to reduce energy consumption. You can select to get alerts on your smart phone when a window/door is opened for increased safety in your home. The sensor includes two parts. The primary part contains a detection circuit that detects the secondary part, which consists of a magnet. Very easy installation, no screws are needed, the sensor is glued on the window or door frame. The window/door sensor is battery operated and require no cabling. Battery lifetime is 5 years at normal usage. When the battery is low (less than 10 %), the status LED blinks orange once a minute, and a message is sent to the Wiser Hub to enable notification via the Wiser Home App. Connect it to the Wiser Hub with the eSetup App for electricians, or with the Wiser Home App. The primary part dimensions are 50.3 x 33 x 16.3mm.
