The pan is 21cm deep to accommodate even larger Sweetcorn and spears of Asparagus, and 14cm in diameter. It has a usable capacity of approximately 2.8 Litres. The pan is made from 18/10, a high quality of Stainless Steel, with a fully encapsulated sandwich base,to ensure heat spreads quickly and evenly, for fast and efficient boiling, and effective control when simmering. The steel handles are hollow to minimise the build up of heat in them during cooking. The wire basket has small feet to raise it off the base of the pan during cooking and a fold away wire handle for easy retrieval once the vegetables are cooked.
