The Blocker is offered in two color versions - a classic black one and a purple one, visible from afar. Full anodization of the cladding not only gives it color, but additionally protects it from corrosion and other potential damage. One of the Blocker's biggest pluses is its very wide range of handled ropes, including 10.5mm. The Blocker is one of the few devices that can work with this most popular diameter of static ropes today. As a result, the device is one of the most universal and versatile offerings in its class. On the front of the Blocker's body there is a movable metal pawl with spun edges. Its adjustment allows the device to be "parked" at a specific height without damaging the sensitive fibers of the rope. The user can thus lock the Blocker, gaining the ability to work comfortably (and safely). The plate has an ergonomic shape, allowing operation even with gloves. One of the advantages of this model is the possibility to put it on at any point of the rope, even under load - all you need to do is pivot the outer lining. The whole process is extremely simple and easy to understand, even for novice technicians. The manufacturer recommends connecting the device to the harness using 10 - 20 cm of webbing.
