DeWalt's new 12v range of compact power tools shares battery compatibility with the existing 10.8v XR lithium ion range, and one of the first models on this platform is the new DCD706 combi drill. With a shortened length of just 168mm and a bright LED worklight for increased visibility, this machine is ideal for use in tight spaces like the interiors of cabinets and cupboards, and includes a hammer function for hammer drilling into tougher materials when required. At just 1kg without battery and supplied with a belt hook for hands free portability, the DCD706 is also comfortable to use when working at height or overhead.
