General de Gaulle resided in 1940 before joining United Kingdom. Fully restored since 1986 it offers 30 bedrooms and apartments with mosaic bathrooms, fireplaces. All chateaux have a history behind them which is sometimes epic, heroic 01 which bears witness to the greatness and pomp of their owners. Others have, however, come through the centuries displaying an exemplary wisdom, their lords more often than not simply running the village nestled next to their walls and surrounding land. The park and surrounding wood are an ideal place of stay to discover in this soft France the castles of Chambord, Blois, Amboise and Touraine. Rooms and apartments comfortable and functional are furnished in the XIXth century style.
