An excellent Hotel that also houses an 18th century spa, fed by natural mineral springs from the ground. In addition all guests resident in the hotel have complimentary use of all on site leisure facilities, which include a naturally heated Olympic sized outdoor swimming pool from May - October; thermal fed indoor plunge pool, sauna and outdoor tennis court. There is a free car park and this is an ideal hotel for exploring the beautiful countryside of the Peak District. The 55 en suite rooms are all traditionally furnished and have hairdryer, trouser press and tea/coffee making facilities as standard. The restaurant features British cuisine and a bistro menu. This hotel has an excellent reputation locally for it's wonderful food. The lobby is traditional.
