BrainBox introduces My First Science, the ten minute brain challenge! If you are the youngest player, take a card from the BrainBox and turn over the sand timer. Study the picture on the card until the 10-second timer runs out. The timer can be turned a second time for younger players, to give them extra time to study the card. Once you're done, pass the card to another player and roll the die. You must then answer the question on the back of the card as to what the die rolls (e.g. if you roll a 2 you must answer question 2). The other player reads the question and your answer is checked. If you have answered correctly you keep the card, if not you place the card to one side and the next player chooses a card from the BrainBox. The winner of BrainBox is the player with the most cards after 10 minutes!
