When you grind with a coarse-grit fibre discs you want a backing pad that's strong and resistant to heat. It also needs to be rigid to help you get the right amount of pressure on your workpiece. That's how we made the PRO Backing Pad for coarse-grit grinding. We designed the PRO Backing Pad for grinding with coarse fibre discs of P50 grit or below. We made it from heat-resistant plastic reinforced with fibreglass and gave it a rigid structure to make sure it's strong and durable.
