A Power Boost setting is available on all zones for times when a little extra power is required and each zone is fitted with a timer control and a 2 stage residual heat indicator. Induction cooking brings together the economy and efficiency of electric cooking with the instant heat control of a gas appliance. An Induction hob is faster and more energy efficient than either a traditional Radiant Ring or Ceramic hob unit and provides the instant finger-tip control of cooking and associated with a gas burner.The hob comes with a number of safety features; including Automatic Pan Detection which ensures that the heating zones power-up only when a suitable steel or iron cooking vessel is detected and a Small Utensil Detector designed to prevent the hob from heating any utensils placed on the cooking surface.
