The slimline blower tube channels an air speed of 315 km/h to shift leaves and heavier waste into manageable piles, while the larger vacuum tube enables waste to be sucked into a shredding fan which reduces the volume from 12 to 1 before depositing it in the collection bag for disposal or use as compost.
