Enjoy it now, or cellar for a few more years. No need to decant, serve slightly chilled. Bellavista is located on a scenic hilltop in the heart of Franciacorta, with views extending to Lake Iseo and the beginning of the mighty Alps. It was founded in 1977 by entrepreneur Vittorio Moretti, with help from expert oenologist Mattia Vezzola. Together, they built one of Franciacorta’s most respected names, a winery that pays special attention to history. Traditional presses are still used in Bellavista, to ensure that the fruits are treated as delicately as possible. In the interest of keeping things natural, “Alma Non-Dosato” has no added sugars, a perfectly pure and dry expression of the Franciacorta terroir. Fresh, lively and elegant are just a few of the words you can use to describe this wine. Composed of 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir, it is a beautiful pale yellow in the glass, with flashes of green. The nose exhibits floral notes, white peach, pear and apple. This is a perfect choice for lovers of dry, mouth-puckering wine, as it has an intense, immediate freshness on the palate. Look for flavours of white fruits and white flowers, and a long, sapid finish. This is an excellent wine for an aperitif, and it will pair well with a gooey risotto or sushi.
