Asahiro is a small but historical hotel established in 1875, famous for fresh seafood cuisine such as longtooth grouper and natural hot spring bath in every guest room. Many sightseeing spots such as Minabe Plum Park, Adventure Park (famous for Pandas),, Shirahama, Tanabe, and the world heritage Kumano Kodo Iseji are around the hotel. Also enjoyable is rarely found easily-constructed open air bath on the roof (available for free for overnight guests). The hotel also features natural hot spring and artificial hot spring called Minabe onsen. (Open air bath close during winter and in case of bad weather such as strong wind and heavy rain.
