Each silver coloured, metal Y-spindle attaches to the bottom of your BabyDan pressure gate and locks around the upright sections of your staircase. A rubber coating inside the Y-spindle protects the wood or metal work of your staircase, preventing unsightly damage to the finish of your staircase. This pressure fitted Y-spindle uses a triple locking mechanism to keep your gate firmly locked in position.
