By using self-assign, the camera user assigns and pick up any available body worn camera using an RFID tag. The user simply swipes their ID card or tag and will directly get a camera allocated and configured with the specific user information. This allows different work shifts to share a pool of cameras streamlining the number of cameras needed while keeping the possibility to have fully personalized user profiles.
