The refuge mainly offers simple dishes in the Valle d'Aosta tradition.It has 19 rooms, four of which are double rooms; the remaining rooms have two/three, four and five beds.Five are dormitories with eight iron bunk beds and wardrobes in which to keep rucksacks.

The refuge, an actual ex-hunting house, is situated in a wonderful position in the green basin of Dondena, on the outskirts of the Park of Monte Avic. The refuge can be easily reached since it is only a 15 minute walk from the parking area.
