Known throughout the world as the \'Jewel of the Desert\', this acclaimed resort was built as one of the city’s first resorts in 1929. This landmark resort is spread over 39 acres of land covered with lush gardens. Each of the luxurious guestrooms is decorated with Mission-style furnishings and sand, beige and ivory-coloured fabrics. The resort has a number of dining options, serving innovative cuisines and seafood delicacies. * The iconic Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel, will be launching a multi-million-dollar renovation that will offer guests modern and refined accommodations, while preserving the historic architecture and design that distinguish the grand dame of Phoenix. The landmark resort is re-mastering guest rooms and suites, meeting spaces, ballrooms, pre-function rooms, spa and salon, as well as the prohibition-era Mystery Room with a sophisticated new look that recalls the seductive style of the resort\'s early years. These renovations are set to begin April 14, 2014 and set to be completed by September 15, 2014. There will be approximately 400 rooms renovated total, operating small portions of the resort at a time. They will still be making the guests the main priority and will do all that they can to assign them to rooms far from the renovation areas.
