The company that has almost become an empire has expanded its borders beyond Tuscany. In Umbria, a few kilometers from Orvieto, the Antinori family owns the Castello Della Sala estate, which extends over 500 hectares of land. Produced from Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon grapes from the vineyards of the Castello Della Sala estate, Conte Della Vipera is a lean and very fresh white wine. The vineyards are located at an altitude between 250 and 350 m above sea level, on soils rich in fossils. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, where the wine then remains to refine until bottling. Its color is pale straw yellow, with light greenish reflections. On the nose, the wine releases a large bouquet of fruity aromas, ranging from citrus fruits, stone fruit, and exotic fruit. On the palate, it is a fresh and direct wine, easy to drink and with a good character. Perfect for recipes based on fish and shellfish.
