Located in Bulgaria, near the village of Chervenakovo in the Sredna Gora hills, Angel's Estate has approximately 100 hectares of vineyards planted mainly with red grapes, with vines of approximately 15 years of age. The company has a traditional approach to winemaking and most of the work, in the vineyard and in the cellar, is done manually. The Young Stallion is one of the company's flagship wines and is made with a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah. The grapes are selected and harvested manually from the company's vineyards located on sandy-clayey soils, particularly favorable for the production of red wines. After the winemaking practices, the finished wine rests in second passage French oak barrels for 8 months. The wine reveals a brilliant and clear color with dark red tones. Its aromatic profile is complex and broad with intense notes of red and dark fruit, such as blueberry, cherry, currants, and some spicy hints. On the palate, it is round and full with velvety tannins and a well-balanced acid vein. It has a good structure and a warm and prolonged finish. It is the ideal wine for grilled meat and with peppered filet steak.
