The parent unit is small, portable and rechargeable so you can clip it to your belt and monitor baby as you move around freely.With a range of 230 metres, the Angelcare-- AC701 offers digital 1.8GHz crystal clear sound transmission with automatic channel selection. Optimal sound quality and communication privacy between the parent and nursery unit is guaranteed. An out of range indicator advises you when the 2 units are not communicating with each other. Out of range situations can be caused by distance or physical interferences.The temperature in baby's room is displayed on the parent unit and an alarm can be set to sound if the the temperature is too high or too low. The Angelcare-- AC701 can also be set to continuous or voice activated sound transmission so you can hear all sounds in baby's room or just when your baby cries.A talk-back feature enables you to speak directly to your little one just by pressing a button on the parent unit. Movement monitoring can also be temporarily deactivated when you need to feed or change baby to avoid the movement alarm activating. The monitor can be set to vibrate when the alarm is activated and an optional 'tic' sound feature reassures that the monitor is detecting movement even when baby is sleeping silently.Delivering the flexibility to meet your requirements, the Angelcare-- AC701 monitors movement and sound, sound only or movement only. It also features an Eco mode function that allows it to be set on a low transmission mode. Acting as a soothing night light, the nursery unit's clear frame enables you to check in on baby with minimal disruption. For peace of mind, the monitor indicates when batteries need replacing.
