Al Sole Palace Hotel

This grand 15th-century palace pointed-arch windows stands on a canal-lined street. Glass doors open to a marble-floored lobby with Oriental rugs, antique columns, and exposed-beam ceiling. Guests are largely European couples, along with some international tour groups. Housed in a truly marvellous 15th century Palazzo, the Al Sole was once the residence of the dynastic Marcello family, who still own and run the hotel to this day.
