The CDL-414 is a SATA power cable for powering SATA devices such as a SATA hard drive. The CDL-414 is a 4pin molex to SATA cable that produces power from the PC's PSU to the SATA device.
This Y-Powercable by Delock provides a second 4pin Molex port in addition to your existing standard ATX interface. Thus you can supply another device with power. e.g. a IDE drive.
