Discover the life and work of famous potter Josiah Wedgwood with this day out at the Wedgwood Visitor Centre. The experience includes a self guided tour of the centre and museum, which houses paintings by famous artists, intriguing documents and an outstanding display of some of the world finest Wedgwood ceramic pieces. What's more, you'll also receive a delicious English high tea including finger sandwiches, homemade cakes, French Fancies and chocolate mousse, along with unlimited refills of pots of Wedgwood tea - all served on Wedgwood fine bone china! Your voucher is valid for 10 months. This experience is for two people. Pre-booking is essential. The experience is available on weekdays and selected weekends throughout the year. Please note under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Wedgwood is closed on selected dates between Christmas and New Year. The Visitor Centre opens at 10am and closes at 5pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends. Afternoon tea lasts approximately one hour and you are free to stay at the centre as long as you like. All dates are subject to availability. Please note, there is a major redevelopment project underway at the Wedgwood Estate as they create an upgraded manufacturing facility, company offices and new world class visitor experience called the World of Wedgwood. As a result, the site is closed to customers from 24th December 2014 through until early April 2015.
