For both telephone applications and ADSL devices to function on one line without interference the signals need to be split with filters. The BT-830 ADSL Phone filter should be used on the end of every extension coming from the master socket where an ADSL router is being used for internet access. One filter is required per telephone/fax/Skybox(if connected to phone line) or dial up modems. The ADSL router should also be connected to the phone line through an ADSL microfilter.
