Join me on a walking tour across the Gold Coast’s picturesque Currumbin Estuary, Beree-Badalla Reserve and Tarrabora Reserve, filled with interesting tidbits and stunning views over these sparkling waterways. Our walk starts at Currumbin Creek and follows an easy path over the bridge to the entrance of the Mangrove Boardwalk. We’ll continue our stroll through the sheltered Beree-Badalla Reserve and Tarrabora Reserve, surrounded by indigenous vegetation, birdlife and plenty of views of the tranquil Tarrabora inlet. Our journey ends at Surf Beach, where you’ll be greeted with a spectacular vista past Burleigh Hill to Surfers Paradise. My name is Jannette and I’ve lived in Currumbin for the past 25 years. I can’t wait to share the local fishing, skiing, snorkeling and surfing spots with you. Along the way, I’ll also point out various picnic places and parks where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery. If you’re lucky, you may even see some Australian wildlife.
