The Bayswater is built around Vikings urban sports hybrid frame. The tubing is lightweight heat treated aluminium with geometry to suit anything from a quick commute to some serious long distance light rough riding. An upgrade over the Edgeware, Viking has speced the Bayswater with additional gearing. Transmission is all Shimano, 24 speed push button STI gear shifters with Shimano front and rear derailleurs, an eight speed Shimano cassette and a Shimano triple chainset with lightweight alloy crank arms. This set-up will give you a gear for any terrain, super easy for steep hills and rough ground or super fast for track and road. When it comes down to stopping the Bayswater is no slouch, front and rear alloy V type brakes with Shimano adjustable reach alloy levers offer predictable stopping power in all conditions. The Bayswater is also adaptable, frame and forks have mudguard clearance with fitting bosses. Luggage won't be a problem either, fitting points are provided for a rear pannier.
