The Viking Monarch tandem is the road going version of the Regency and sits right at the top of the Viking 2013 tandem range. Instead of 26" wheels it comes with slightly larger and narrower 700c wheels, better suited for longer distances on tarmac. The Monarch also comes fully equipped with a rear alloy 4 point fixing pannier rack and full chromo-plastic mudguards. It's ideal cycle for couples or friends who prefer to share the experience of a cycle ride. The frameset is Vikings bullet proof aluminium triple triangle frame with chromoly forks producing a strong but lightweight responsive tandem. The frame features an eccentric bottom bracket as standard for easy chain tension adjustment. Equipped with 24 speed Shimano indexed gears with push button Shimano shifters for easy gear selection and powerful front and rear V type brakes it offers a great introduction to tandem riding.
