No longer produced in Wolverhampton, each model now utilizes the technical developments of today's manufacturing processes and lightweight tubing. 2014 Viking Notting Hill Gents Sports Urban Hybrid Bike The Notting Hill is the disc brake version of the Viking Pimlico and is built around Vikings urban sports hybrid frame. The tubing is lightweight heat treated aluminium with geometry to suit anything from a quick commute to some serious long distance light rough riding. Transmission is all Shimano, 21 speed push button STI gear shifters with Shimano front and rear derailleurs, a seven speed Shimano freewheel and a Shimano triple chainset with lightweight alloy crank arms. This set-up will give you a gear for any terrain, super easy for steep hills and rough ground or super fast for track and road. When it comes down to stopping the Notting Hill has been given a little extra clout, powerful front and rear cable actuated disc brakes with Shimano adjustable reach alloy levers offer predictable stopping power in all conditions. The Notting Hill is also adaptable, frame and forks have mudguard clearance with fitting bosses. Luggage won't be a problem either, fitting points are provided for a rear pannier.
